29th August 1917, Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant, Royal West Kent Regiment.

Widow - Mrs Doris Esther Steele, 172 Clarence Street, Bolton, Manchester.

27th May 1919, Probate - Alfred Charles John Steele, of 137 Taybridge Road, Clapham Common, Surrey, Second Lieutenant, Royal West Kent Regiment died 23rd August 1918, in France. Administration London 27th May to Doris Esther Steele, widow. Effects £50.

Buried at Adanac Military Cemetery, III. C. 10., Miraumont, France.
