20th June 1919, Probate - George, Henry William Hotten, of Orchardleigh, Perry Hill, Catford, Kent, died 19th March 1919, at Wandsworth Common, Surrey. Administration (with will) London 20th October to Elizabeth George, widow, Effects £172 18s.

Buried at  Lewisham (Ladywell) Cemetery, D. 211., United Kingdom in the family grave. Commemorated at Haberdashers' Aske's Boy's School in New Cross.

Brother, Rifleman Reginald Berner George, 12th Battalion, Kings Royal Rifle Corps, Service No.R/17489, also fell 13th August 1916, age 16. Commemorated at Thiepval Memorial, Pier & Face 13A & 13B, Somme France.
