1911 Census - 75 Christ Church Road, South Ashford, Kent - James Gorham, head, age 57, married, coleman on South Eastern & Chatham Railway, born Ivychurch, Kent; Eliza Jane Gorham, wife, age 55, married 36 years, 6 children, all still alive, born Ham Street; Frederick James Gorham, son, age 26, single, machinist in South Eastern & Chatham Railway Works, born Appledore; Christina May Gorham, daughter, age 18, single, assisting at home, born Appledore; Nellie Gorham, daughter, age 12, school, born Appledore.


1913, December Quarter, West Ashford Registration District, married Grace Blackman, of 19, East Street, Ashford, Kent.

Child - Eveline? M Gorham, born 20th December 1915.

Enlisted Ashford, Kent. 

Buried at  Meaulte Military Cemetery, F. 32., France.

NOTE: One of 18 members of the 6th Battalion Royal West Kent Regiment who were killed on 24 August 1918. All are now buried in Meaulte Military Cemetery.
