Enlisted Chichester, Sussex, 18th October 1912, age 18 years, 6 months, height 5ft 3⅞ inches, weight 111lbs. 17th January 1913, 3rd Class Certificate of Education. 28th January 1913, discharged to join Regular Army.

Enlisted Chichester, Sussex, age 18 years & 9 months, height  weight 118lbs, fresh complexion, grey eyes, brown hair, mole 2" below right collar bone, scar back of neck. Formerly baker.
