Born Kildare, Ireland, son of Emily Wilson, of 207, Bertha Street, Kenilworth, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Brother, William Whitman.

Buried at Warlincourt Halte British Cemetery, IX. G. 10., Saulty, Pas de Calais, France.
