Born Tunbridge Wells, Kent, son of Henry & Sarah Hollamby, 42, Charles Street, Southborough, Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

27th April 1907, Hadlow Down, Sussex, married Husband of Elizabeth Hollamby (nee Turner), spinster, of 44, Charles Street, Southborough, Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Children - Lily D Hollamby, born 7th November 1912; Elizabeth Hollamby, born 17th August 1915.

Formerly served in Royal Sussex Regiment, discharged medically unfit.

Enlisted Maidstone, Kent, age 31 & 270 days, height 5ft 6¼ inches, weight 136lbs, fresh complexion, blue eyes, brown hair. Formerly wireman.

Home, 4th September 1914 to 6th December 1914; BEF, 7th December 1914 to 5th May 1915.

4th September 1914, enlisted; 5th September 1914, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment,; 6th September 1914, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 27th November 1914, absent from 9.00pm until 10.10pm same day, 3 days confined to Barracks; 7th December 1914, posted BEF & 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 2nd May 1915, appointed unpaid Lance Corporal.

22nd November 1915, pension of 15/- a week awarded to widow and one child.
