25th December 1911, Freshford Parish Church, Somerset, Alfred Edward Gillard, age 23, bachelor, baker, Upper Weston, Bath, father Robeert Gillard, labourer, married Alice Humphries, age 26, spinster, of Freshford, father, Simon Humphries, labourer. Banns read on 3rd /10th / 17 December 1911, All Saints, Weston, Somerset.

Enlisted Lydney, Gloucestershire.

Commemorated at  Arras  Memorial, Bay 7, France.
