Enlisted Woolwich, Kent, age 28, height 5ft 5½ inches, weight 143lbs, light complexion, blue eyes, blond hair, 2 moles right side of neck. Resided 28 Hardy Cottages, Trafalgar Road, Greenwich, SE.
Home 12th August 1914 to 31st May 1915; BEF 1st June 1915 to 8th October 1915.
9th March 1915, Register Office Greenwich, married Ada Lily Davis, spinster.
Commemorated at Loos Memorial, Panel 95 to 97., France.
NOTE: Regimental History and Soldiers Died in the Great War both show lastname as JESSOP; CWGC web site show lastname as JESSUP.
