Transferred to Royal Engineers (No.147279) 7th April 1916. 5th Battalion, Special Brigade.

Commemorated at Thiepval Memorial, Pier and Face 8 A and 8 D.. Somme, France


NOTE : Apparently brothers Arthur Thomas Holmwood and Frederick (Frank) Holmwood had their service numbers transposed and served under each others numbers. The above records could be for either soldier.
