Private Clarence Albert FOSTER, G/24967,  2nd  Battalion, "B" Company, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment,  (formerly 29033, Rifle Brigade), died of wounds, Mesopotamia Expeditionary Force, 30th October 1918.

Born Paddington, son of Frederick & Rose Foster.


1911 Census - 3 Falconer Mews, Paddington - Frederick Foster, head, age 45, married, cowman, born Eaton Bray, Bedfordshire; Rose Foster, wife, age 43, married 20 years, 6 children, 2 still alive, born Hampstead; Clarence Albert Foster, son, age 19, single, piano string maker, born Paddington.


Enlisted West London.  Resided Paddington, Middlesex.

Wounded 30th October 1918, gun shot wound back, died in transit by Ambulance to 30 Casualty Clearing Station.

Buried at  Baghdad (North Gate) War Cemetery, V. C. 5., Iraq.
