14th December 1914, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 23rd December 1914, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 22nd April 1915, posted BEF & 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 23rd April 1915, landed at 5 Infantry Base Depot; 25th April 1915, joined Battalion, "B" Company; 5th to 15th July 1917, granted leave to UK.
