Husband of Jessie Beatrice Kate Avis, of The Withy Pitts, Turner's Hill, Crawley Down, Sussex.

Enlisted Croydon, Surrey, resided South Norwood.

Buried at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, XVII.J.17A., Poperinge, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium. Commemorated at St Giles Church, Horsted Keynes War Memorial.
