Born Wandsworth, Surrey, son of Charles and Ellen Cole, of Garrett Lane, Wandsworth, Surrey.

15th August 1914, posted BEF.

Buried at Pernois British Cemetery, III.D.5., Halloy-les-Pernois, Somme, France.
