10th December 1915, enlisted; 11th December 1915, to Army Reserve; 22nd January 1916, mobilized; 22nd January 1916, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 23rd January 1916, posted 9th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 26th April 1916, Shoreham by Sea, overstaying his pass, from midnight until 2.00pm the 27th April 1916, admonished, forfeits one days pay; 18th May 1916, posted BEF; 19th May 1916, embarked & posted 8th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 2nd June 1916, proceeded to join Battalion; 30th June 1916, 73rd Field Ambulance, multiple wounds.
