Home, 10th October 1907 to 1st December 1908; India, 2nd December 1908 to 21st June 1915; Indian Expeditionary Force, (embarked 22nd June 1915; disembarked, 3rd July 1915), 22nd June 1915 to 4th August 1915; India, 5th August 1915 to 7th March 1916; Home, 8th March 1916 to 17th May 1916.
10th October 1907, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 23rd January 1908, posted 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 2nd December 1908, posted 2nd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 31st March 1909, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 24th July 1915, severely wounded.
17th May 1916, discharged as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to wounds. Silver War Badge issued
