Enlisted 29th April 1915, Bromley, Kent,  age 20, height 5ft 7 inches, resided 8 Jessamine Terrace, Birchwood, Swanley Junction, Kent. Formerly engineer.

Son of Ellen Dayman, 8 Jessamine Terrace, Birchwood, Swanley Junction, Kent.

Home, 29th April 1915 to 10th October 1915; BEF, 11th October 1915 to 6th December 1915; Home, 7th December 1915 to 2nd June 1916.

29th April 1915, enlisted and posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 12th May 1915, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 11th October 1915, posted 8th Battalion,  Royal West Kent Regiment & BEF; 7th December 1915, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment.

2nd June 1916, discharged  as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to wounds. Silver War Badge issued

Pension, 25/- a week for 6 months conditional.
