18th March 1891, born Rotherhithe, Surrey, son of Thomas George & Elizabeth Mary Torrison, Laundry, Albion Street, Rotherhithe, Surrey.

1st April 1891, All Saints, Rotherhithe, Southwark, baptism of Richard Henry Torrison, son of Thomas George, (labourer),  & Elizabeth Torrison, 18 Queen Street.

8th February 1909, enlisted Stratford, Essex, age 20, height 5ft 6 inches, black hair, blue eyes. Formerly truck hand.

10th January 1911, Police Gazette, Army Deserters - 28th December 1910, deserted,  Bordon, 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment

6th February 1915, posted Asiatic Theatre of War.

Buried at Basra War Cemetery, II. R. 11., Iraq.
