Born Bermondsey, Surrey, son of Charles & Elizabeth Ann Teather. Sister, Norah E Jeffery.

29th December 1889, Christ Church, Bermondsey, Surrey, baptism of Robert William Tether, son of Charles, (engineer), & Elizabeth Tether, 10 Throwbow? Street.

1904 September, St Olave, Registration District, Charles Teather, died age 43.

8th July 1906, Christ Church, Camberwell, Elizabeth Ann Teather, age 41, widow, 41 Hatcham Road, father John Atherton, deceased, costermonger, married Samuel Albert Tinkley, age 41, bachelor, labourer,  41 Hatcham Road, father Horatio Tinkley, deceased, auctioneer.

Enlisted Maidstone, Kent.  Resided Bermondsey, Surrey.

1911 Census - Block A, 12 Vine Street Buildings, Tooley Street - Samuel Tinkley, head, age 50, married, labourer, riverside, worker, born Norwich; Elizabeth Tinkley, wife, age 46. married 5 years, born Bermondsey; Steve Tinkley, son, age 17, single, vanguard, born Bermondsey; Arthur Tinkley, son, age 12, born Bermondsey; Daisy Tinkley, daughter, age 10, born Chobham. 


6th February 1915, posted Asiatic Theatre of War.

Buried at Baghdad (North Gate) War Cemetery.  Commemorated Angora Memorial 165., Iraq.
