Enlisted Lewisham, age 32, height 5ft 7½ inches. Resided 222 Old London Road, Hastings, Sussex. Formerly painter.

Next of Kin (brother) - Edward George Hook, 222 Old London Road, Hastings, Sussex.

10th July 1915, enlisted & posted 11th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 4th February 1916, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 5th February 1916, posted 12th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.

16th June 1916, Bourley Camp, Aldershot, discharged age 32 years & 343 days, height 5ft 7½ inches, "No longer physically fit for War Service". Military Character, good.

Buried at Hastings Cemetery, K. I. E1., Hastings, Sussex.
