Enlisted  Maidstone, Kent, age 21 years, 52 days, height 5ft 5 ¾inches, weight 137lbs.  Resided at 35 Victoria St, Eccles, Kent. Formerly cooper.

Home 14th December 1915 to 18th May 1916; BEF 9th May 1916 to 3rd October 1916.

14th December 1915, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 24th December 1915, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 19th May 1916, posted BEF & 7th Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment & embarked; 2nd June 1916, 18 Infantry Base Depot, proceeded to the Front.
