Private Walter CAMP, G/21235, 10th  Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died of wounds, 2nd Australian General Hospital, Wimeacaute, Flanders France, 19th November 1918, age 20.

Born Loughon, Glamorganshire, Wales, son of John and *Dona Camp, of Pwll, Llanelly, Carmarthenshire. * foster mother.

Time in confinement awaiting Trial 12 days; 16th January 1918, proceeded to Italy with Battalion; 26th April 1918, wounded in action, 130 Field Ambulance, to Casualty Clearing Station gas shell wound; 7th May 1918, admitted 1 Convalescent Depot; 9th May 1918, admitted 10 Convalescent Depot; 6th June 1918, "J" Depot, Etaples; 10th June 1918, joined Div Wing; 15th August 1918, wounded, gassed; 16th August 1918, 140 Field Ambulance, wounded, gas shell; 19th August 1918, 64 Casualty Clearing Station, gas shell; 9th September 1918, rejoined Battalion; 30th September 1918, 14 days leave to UK; 23rd October 1918, wounded in action; 27th October 1918, 3 Australian Casualty Clearing Station, gun shot wound, thigh & abdomen; 28th October 1918, admitted 2nd Australian Hospital, Boulogne; 19th November 1918,  2nd Australian General Hospital, died of wounds received in action.

In pursuance of “The Regimental Debts Acts 1893” notice is hereby given that there is available for distribution amongst the Next of Kin or others entitled the sum of money set opposite to the name of each of the deceased Officers, and Soldiers and Airmen named in the lists which are published with this notice in the London Gazette and the “Army List” and are also to be seen at the Regimental Depots throughout the United Kingdom.

Applications from persons supposing themselves entitled as Next of Kin should be addressed by letter to Secretary, War Office, Imperial Institute, South Kensington, London, SW7 and marked outside “Effects”
