Serjeant Louis Charles CRAMER, G/23192, 2nd Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, (attached to Supply & Transport Corps), died of paratyphoid fever, Station Hospital, Bangalore, India, at 3.12pm, 15th February 1918.
Born Allahabad, India, son of Mrs F Cramer, 54 Watsons Annexe, Apolla Bunder, Bombay, India.
Served in Bombay Volunteer Rifles for 3 years.
Enlisted Colaba, Bombay, India, age 21 years & 2 months, height 5ft 10½ inches, 144lbs. Resided 54 Watsons Annexe, Apolla Bunder, Bombay, India. Formerly Appraiser H M Customs.
15th November 1916, enlisted; 8th February 1918, admitted to Station Hospital, Bangalore, India.
Buried in Bangalore (Hosur Road) Cemetery.
Commemorated at Madras 1914-1918 War Memorial, Face 20, Chennai, India.
