Born Shorne, Gravesend, Kent, enlisted Chatham, Kent.

Son of John Robert and Elizabeth Letitia Cooper, of 7, Providence Cottages, Upper Higham, Rochester; husband of Eleanor Emma Chapman (formerly Cooper), of 16, Carters Rd., Perry St., Gravesend, Kent. Enlisted Sept., 1914.

Commemorated at Arras Memorial, Bay 7, Pas de Calais, France.
