Corporal Charles Edward CHAMPION, L/10629, 8th  Battalion, Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died of wounds, 28th October 1916, age 20.

Born Maidstone, Kent, enlisted Maidstone, Kent.

Son of H. W. Champion (late Colour Serjeant) and Mrs. Champion, of 18, Gladstone Rd., Maidstone.

Commemorated at Philosophe British Cemetery, II. C. 7., Mazingarbe, Pas de Calais, France.
