Corporal George Rowland KAY, G/39004, 7th  Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, (formerly 138218, Royal Engineers), killed in action, Flanders France, 4th November 1918, age 21.  

Enlisted in Royal Engineers, Chatham, Kent, November 1915.

Born Barrow, Lancashire, enlisted Chatham, Kent, resided Westmoreland.   

Son of Thomas George and Mary Jane Kay, of Bryn Teg, Arnside, Westmoreland. 

Commemorated at Montay-Neuvilly Road Cemetery, III. B. 14., Montay, France.
