Born Lee, Kent, enlisted Bromley, Kent, resided Rolvenden, Kent.

Son of George Frederick Barker and the late Emily Barker; husband of Mary Barker (now Swaffer), of High St., Rolvenden, Cranbrook, Kent.

Commemorated at  Tyne Cot  Memorial, Panel 106 to 108, Zonnebeke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
