Born Wittersham, Kent, enlisted Lewes, Sussex, resided Battle, Sussex.

Son of John and Charlotte Levitt, of Ninfield, Sussex; husband of Mary Isabel Levitt, of 4, Brooklyn Road, Seaford, Sussex.

Commemorated at Godewaersvelde British Cemetery, I. A. 32., France.
