Lance Corporal Alfred Edward PHILLIPS, G/21522, 7th Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, (formerly M/2/082123, A.S.C. (MT)), killed in action, Flanders France, 28th October 1918, age 22.

Born Highgate, London, N, enlisted London.

Son of Alfred Phillips, of 49, Crowndale Road, Camden Town, London.

Commemorated at Vis-en-Artois Memorial, Panel 7,  France.

AWARDS: MM, Clasp to MM

His Majesty the KING has been graciously pleased to approve of the award of the Military Medal for bravery in the Field to the undermentioned Warrant Officers, Non-commissioned Officers and Men:
