Lance Corporal  William ABREY, G/24255, 10th Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, died of wounds, Flanders, France, 19th January 1917,  age 23.

Born Ingatestone, Essex, enlisted Norwich, Norfolk, resided at 80 Russell Street, Peterborough, Northamptonshire.

Eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Abrey, of High St., Ingatestone, Essex; husband of Agnes M. Abrey, of 80, Russell St., Peterborough, Northants.

Commemorated at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, X.D.26A., Poperinge, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
