Son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Mercer, of "Glendale," Hilda Road, Sheerness East, Kent. 

Commemorated at  Talana Farm Cemetery,  III. K. 15.   Ieper, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium and at St. Mary and All Saints Church, Boxley Kent.
