Born Croydon, Surrey, enlisted Whitehall, SW, resided Walthamstow, Essex.

Son of John Henry and Margaret Lydia Allchin, of 19, Verulam Avenue, Walthamstow, Essex.

Commemorated at Thiepval Memorial, Pier and Face 11C, Somme, France.
