Private James Oliver OVERSLY, G/31721, 6th  Battalion,  Queens Own Royal West Kent Regiment, (formerly 26863, Border Regiment), died of wounds,  Flanders France, 14th September 1918, age 23.

Born Wigton, Cumberland, enlisted Wigton, Cumberland.

Son of A. G. Oversby, of Wigton; husband of Tamar Annie Oversby, of 18, Southend, Wigton, Cumberland.

Commemorated at St Sever Cemetery Extension, R. II. E. 17., Rouen, France.
