24th June 1916, enlisted; 17th March 1919, discharged  age 40, as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to wounds. Served Overseas. Silver War Badge issued.

Buried at St Stephens-by Saltash (St Stephen) Churchyard, 1153., Cornwall, United Kingdom.
