Son of Charles & Ellen Pike, 151, Reedhaven Road, Plumstead, Kent.

Previously served 3rd Battalion, (Militia), Royal West Kent Regiment.

Husband of Mary Elizabeth Pike, (nee Honess, spinster), married 27th May 1919, St John, Plumstead, Kent.

Child - Emily Dorothy, born 29th May 1912, Woolwich.

12th May 1903, enlisted & posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 8th August 1903, posted 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 12th December 1905, posted Provisional Battalion; 11th May 1906, transferred to Army Reserve; 5th August 1914, mobilized; 6th August 1914, posted 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 24th August 1914, "missing", wounded, gun shot wound, left foot, Prisoner of War; 26th December 1917, transferred from Germany to Switzerland; 23rd December 1918, repatriated, arrived on London; 23rd December 1918, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 25th February 1919, posted 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.

17th April 1919, discharged  as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to wounds Silver War Badge issued.
