Previously served 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment, (5873 or 8873), from 4th November 1913 to 13th July 1914.
Husband of Margaret Elizabeth Pearson, (nee Lawrence, spinster), married 25th October 1915, Register Office, Greenwich.
Children - Elizabeth Margaret Pearson, born 7th September 1916, Deptford; Hannah Margaret Pearson, born 10th November 1919, Greenwich.

14th July 1914, enlisted & posted 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 17th September 1914, forfeits 15 days pay, 3rd Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 23rd September 1914 to 6th October 1914, awarded 14 days detention by Commanding Officer for attempting to obtain a pass under false pretences; 6th October 1914, to Duty; 7th December 1914, posted 1st Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment; 6th April 1915, wounded, gun shot wound, right arm; 26th April 1915, posted Depot, Royal West Kent Regiment; 24th June 1915, deserted & struck off strength; 4th December 1915, rejoined from desertion, taken on strength; 6th December 1915 to 9th December 1915, awaiting trial; 10th December 1915, tried by DCM for desertion & losing his clothing, sentenced to 1 years detention & stoppages, all former service forfeited.
2nd May 1916, Detention Barracks, Lewes, Medical Report - disability VDH, date & place of origin unknown.
27th June 1916, from detention, 135 days remitted by GOC Aldershot; 28th July 1916, to Duty.
11th October 1916, discharged as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to wounds Silver War Badge issued.
8th June 1920, enlisted into 20th Battalion, London Regiment, (6733574), Holly Hedge House, Blackheath, SE10. Residing 5 Reginald Road, Deptford. Annual Training 1920, no Camp. Age 24, height 5ft 8 inches, weight 133lbs.
9th April 1921, deemed to have been discharged on enlistment into the London Defence Force.
10th April 1921, enlisted into London Defence Force; 7th June 1924, Termination of Period of Engagement.
