Previously served Royal Field Artillery, Territorial Force.

Son of Samuel & Lucy Maria, Runacres, 47 Henry Street, Woolwich, SE. Sister - Lucy Kathleen Florence Runacres.

Husband of Doris Runacres, (nee Butler, spinster), married 23rd May 1918, Bangelore, India.

Child - Lucy Evelyn Runacres, born 15th January 1920, Dartford, Kent.

27th May 1919, discharged  as "no longer physically fit for War Service" due to sickness Silver War Badge issued.

Pension, 22/- a week plus bonus to 2nd September 1919, then 32/- a week. To be reviewed in 38 weeks from 3rd September 1919, disability 80%, malaria & pulmonary tuberculosis.
